Here is a poem I wrote. Tell me what yall think.
Light of my life
For a long time my life has been so cold and dark,
My life was okay, but I had a broken heart.
I have had some bad experiences with men,
I didn't know if I would ever be able to love someone again.
Then you came in to my darkened life,
You have shown me I could love again, and guided me to Love's light.
Once my heart was as dark as night,
But now my heart has changed from black to white.
With your kind words and your thoughtful ways,
You have given me a reason to want to wake up and face the day.
I wake up every day with a smile on my face,
And whether it's daylight or dark I have a song of love in my heart.
As I learn more and more about you,
I find myself falling for you.
I know that something like this can take some time,
But I think a love like what we could have is so hard to find.
You have shown me what it could be like to live, laugh, and love,
I know you was sent to me from God above.
So I will thank God, every day and night,
Because I am so thankful for you; you are the light of my life.
i know that saying that lately i am overly sensitive to this kind of things is definitely an understatement, but it made me cry
minus the god jargon, I like it.

Aw, I love that! That's a beautiful poem. I wish I could write as good as some of the peeps on this site, but poem isn't my thing.
